How often are you in your head thinking about things that worry you? Have you had this habit for so long now that you don’t even realize your doing it?

We all do this from time to time because we’re human but do you have the tools to help you overcome this habit and bring you back to the present moment?

Can you use self-talk to say to yourself, “am I worried about something from my past or am I projecting about the future that hasn’t happened yet”? Identifying is the 1st step. 2nd, can you take 5 minutes to find somewhere quiet, sit down, close your eyes and slowly breath in and out of your nose while repeating to yourself, “I’m happy, I’m safe, I’m grateful, I am”.

Before you know it, you will back on track to self-compassion and ready to resolve whatever caused your issue in the 1st place.
